And do you know what's really nice? Krispy Kreme gives your dog free treats if you purchase a donut. At Krispy Kreme, a dog dish is always ready, for any canine who stops by. Cool.

Cafe Xocolat is a cozy place. This is where I saw siphon coffee-making. They put it on your table and you'll see how it works. However, if you're a coffee connoisseur and prefer frothy, full-bodied, aromatic coffee, you'll be disappointed. Right, Xocolat is for chocolate lovers only.

If you want to take your animal out for exercise, do so early in the morning, while the sun is not yet high. Portico, LJC Cafe, Mary Grace and Conti's open early on weekends, if you would like to have breakfast or brunch.

Abe's Farm

Abe's Farm is near the foot of Mount Banahaw in Quezon Province. The restaurant, overlooking the pool, serves tasty native fare. The native hut accommodations are comfortable and clean. Nice for a weekend getaway. Your pet is not allowed at the pool area, but there is plenty of space for your animal to explore, among trees and a sloping landscape.

During weekends, breakfast at LJC Cafe is worth it. Every cup of coffee is frothy and freshly brewed. Including the refills!

THE RULES before taking the dog with you

1. Your dog must not shed.
2. Your dog must be clean and odor-free.
3. Your dog must be quiet and well-behaved.
4. Make sure he has peed or pooped outdoors before taking him indoors to a mall or restaurant.
5. Pick up your dog's poop and dispose properly.
6. Always ask permission before letting your dog inside a mall, restaurant or resort. The owners may be dog lovers like you, but the guests may mind. Follow the establishment's pet rules.
7. When in a restaurant, pick a table at a corner away from people traffic, to avoid accidents (such as people tripping on the dog's leash and such).
